Cake and Pie Contest pre-registration

Are you a great cook? Bake your best cake or pie and you may win one of three trophies to be awarded.

Your cake or pie will be tasted by judges who will select the first, second and third best-tasting cakes and pies. The event is sponsored by Angie's Cakes and Candies.

HEALTH REGULATIONS: Any violation of health department regulations or good hygiene results in immediate dismissal from the event. Here are some items you won't want to miss:

Cakes and pies must be maintained at a proper temperature as determined by health department regulations for the ingredients used. Most prepared cakes or pies would therefore arrive in a clean, iced cooler for safety's sake.

We require a list of all cake or pie ingredients (for judges' protection from food allergies, etc.).

EVENT RULES: Any violation of rules results in immediate dismissal from the event.

Pre-registration is appreciated. You can use the form provided below. The registration table check-in is from 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Cakes and pies will be judged and placed on display for everyone to view. Winning cakes and pies will be designated and all entries will have your creation's name, your name and city displayed.

Trophies will be presented at 4:30 p.m. and then remaining cakes and pies may be taken home to enjoy.

Other rules may be in effect during the contest. Be certain to pick up a copy of the complete rules and regulations at the registration table.

On Saturday, July 29, 2006, between 7:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon, check in at the registration table at Pullman Square, downtown Huntington, and provide the $5 entry donation. All cakes and pies will be displayed soon after judging.

One registration per person per event please. Information you provide us may be made available to benefactors and sponsors of this event.
